Update - Fri evening 5/2

Kathy talked with Linda this evening.

Their tentative travel plans call for a trip to Dallas and stay with daughter Amy and Steve on Saturday and then onto Houston on Sunday.

She's not feeling well. She has not been able to review the directions from MD Anderson to get the details of her appointments, but Tammy has.

She seems very drained so phone calls are not advised.

Keep up the prayers and positive thoughts.

May the Peace of Jesus be with her.

Hi All!
This blog is a nice idea...kudos.

Amy and I are very happy to see Linda's treatment moving forward again. We'll get to see them tomorrow and the only request so far has been...
"Outback or PF Chang's".

Most of you probably don't know this but my dad was not supposed to live past my 7th birthday. The doctors all told us things were hopeless. We heard the same story when I was around 14...and when I was 19...and several other times. Honestly I lost count. We learned not to listen because we've seen God touch my father's body again and again. I've heard doctors with a lifetime of medical practice utter the words "there's no other explanation, it's a miracle". They were right. God listens and answers prayer.

We Christians have an ally who knows a lot more about the human body than any doctor...we know the maker. When you want something fixed right you ask the person who made it. Let's all continue to do so each day. We'll leave the fixing to God.

You've all had such kind words about Linda and it's because Linda is such a wonderful person. She's given me a wondeful wife in Amy...I couldn't ask for a greater gift.
